Say hello to Mary and Louise! These two cuties are the newest addition to my holiday crochet amigurumi cats and birds! They are also my first pattern release for 2021!
Last year, I designed Darby and Gerald, my St. Patrick’s Day amigurumi cat and bird. This year, I knew I wanted to do a Valentine’s duo! Mary is a sweet Valentine kitty who loves all things pink!
Louise is Mary’s best friend! She loves to eat strawberry cupcakes!
I used a variety of crafts for this project! The yarn is a mixture of Hobby Lobby I Love Yarn, Red Heart Super Saver, and cotton crochet thread. The eyes and nose are from 6060 on Etsy. I found some really cute flower buttons for Mary’s collar at JoAnn Fabrics. I used some scrap fabrics I had leftover from other projects and white embroidery floss to sew on some cute heart shaped patches to her body.
