Free Crochet Heart Coffee Cup Cozy Pattern

I was first inspired to crochet a heart coffee cup cozy when I saw a picture of a crocheted cozy on a Starbucks sign at Target. It was fall and they were promoting their pumpkin spice lattes and there was a beautiful rust colored cozy with a plum colored heart. I went home and used my cozy pattern to come up with this.

There are so many possible color combinations! This is such a fun and quick little cozy to make and they are great gifts! I have used them for teachers paired with a Starbucks gift card or placed around a reusable cup. I have had custom order requests on my Etsy shop from people who asked for the colors of their wedding and used these cozies as bridesmaids gifts! They are also great for Valentine’s Day.

Another great way to use the crochet heart cozy is to put your favorite baseball, football, basketball, or any team or school colors together! I have done cozies in the colors of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, Denver Broncos, and OSU to name a few.

Free Crochet Heart Coffee Cup Cozy PatternI used a 4.0 mm crochet hook and worsted weight yarn for these cozies. The cozy pattern is mine, but the heart pattern is not. June from PlanetJune designed this awesome heart pattern. For the cozies I use her medium heart pattern. To get June’s heart pattern, visit her site by clicking here.
