I designed this crochet Pikachu cozy to go along with my FREE Crochet Poké Ball Coffee Cup Cozy Pattern for Pokémon Go fans! Pikachu has always been one of my favorite Pokémon characters, long before Pokémon Go. My text tone for my phone is his voice! And what’s not to love, he is absolutely adorable!
I use a 4.0 mm crochet hook for almost all of my cozies, but that particular size is so hard to find in my local craft stores! I have found some nice backup hooks here if you tend to have the same problem. The yarns I used for this cozy are: Red Heart Super Saver in bright yellow, red, and black. If you would like to make your own crochet Pikachu cozy, you can dowload the pattern below as a PDF! Have fun with this little cutie!
Need some inexpensive party supplies? How about if they are FREE? My husband’s site, Halegrafx.com, has a ton of FREE party printables! His free Pikachu printables are pretty darn cute and would be perfect for a Pokémon Go party. They can be downloaded here.
I believe the rnds listed in the ears should be changes . Otherwise you have 16 sts after rnd 3, 32 after 4 and 64 after 5. By changing it you keep 8 stitches in the rnd so that you can increase to 12 in rnd 6.
rnd 3 of the ears should be sc in each sc around, change to yellow in last stitch.
rnds 4-5 sc in each sc around.
You are right! Thanks so much for catching that and letting me know!! 🙂
I have not tried the patterns myself yet but I am very thankful for you shareing them
