Spring is just around the corner! I know I am crazy, but I will miss the snow, we had so much of it this year and I enjoyed every second of it! But I do love springtime too, green grass, pretty flowers, warm sunny days, and of course Easter time! I designed this crochet Easter basket a few years ago, we use it as an Easter time decoration. The pattern is just for the simple basket. You can add anything you want to it to make it your own! We use green yarn scraps in it to look like grass and then we put eggs in it!
For this Crochet Easter Basket, I used a 5.0 mm crochet hook and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn in Duckie. I held two strands of yarn together throughout to make the basket more sturdy. This basket would also make a cute little storage basket for your home! The basket from bottom to rim measures about 2 and 3/4 inches. From bottom to the top of handle it measures just over 6 inches.
