Spring is one of my most favorite times of the year! I just love the when the sun starts getting warmer, birds are chirping everywhere, the crickets and frogs come out and sing along and of course Easter time! Our house is filled with wonderful bunny, egg and chick decorations! I decided to add some more to our collection this year and I couldn’t resist crocheting them. The first is Mrs. Bunny! I bought this crochet pattern on Etsy from bvoe668 and this is what I came up with:
She was a lot of fun to make! My husband helped with the rosy cheeks by dry brushing some pink acrylic paint to them.
Next I decided to make a cute crochet chickie, in honor of our 3 new chicks. I found the pattern for free on garnstudio.com. I used cotton yarn, I really like how she turned out.
